Searching up transactions using a Zepto reference number

Zepto uses reference numbers to categorise transactions based on their purpose.

This articles explains how you can use a Zepto reference number to search for individual transactions in the UI.

There are six common reference numbers that you may encounter:

Reference numbers beginning with CT. or DT.

These numbers are usually found in the description of the payment

You can use these numbers to search for transactions in the Zepto portal.

To do this, please do the following:

  1. Log in to your Zepto account

  2. Click on Reports (located in the sidebar)

  3. Click on Transactions

  4. Enter your reference number in the "Your Bank Reference" field

  5. Click on "Apply filters".

Reference numbers beginning with PR. or PB. or PRF.

If you have a PR.xxx / PB.xxx reference number, this can also be used to search and filter for transactions in the transactions tab indicated above.

To do so, you can:

  1. Log in to your Zepto account

  2. Click on Reports (located in the sidebar)

  3. Click on Transactions

  4. Enter your reference number in the "Reference" field indicated below

  5. Click on "Apply filters".

The PRF. number is a reference number for a payment refund.

Please check your email. You would have received an email either from de_disputes@zepto.com.au (for DE transactions) or npp_disputes@zepto.com.au (for NPP transactions) regarding this payment.

The PRF reference number will be stated in the subject line of the email.

Reference numbers beginning with REC.

An REC.xxx reference number relates to late recovery payments.

If you would like to find the transaction related to a late recovery payment, you can:

  1. Log in to your Zepto account

  2. Click on Reports (located in the sidebar)

  3. Click on Transactions

  4. Enter your reference number in the "Reference" field indicated below

  5. Click on "Apply filters".
